About The Celina Current

Serving the Celina community with trusted local news, events, and stories that matter.

Our Mission

We started The Celina Current because we believe every neighborhood deserves a dedicated local voice. Our small team covers Celina news, events, and stories that the bigger outlets overlook — the stuff your neighbors are actually talking about.

What We Cover

  • Local News — Breaking news and ongoing coverage of the stories that affect Celina residents.
  • Business — Spotlighting local businesses, economic developments, and entrepreneurship in Celina.
  • Events — Your guide to community events, festivals, and gatherings throughout Celina.

Ownership and service offers

This publication is owned by Michael Fontaine, who also owns Varsity Zone of Frisco and DFW Air Cost. Offers from Varsity Zone of Frisco are identified on the page. Our HVAC coverage includes a business with common ownership; please consider that relationship when comparing recommendations.

Service availability is confirmed for your address. A request does not book an appointment, and we do not automatically forward it to an unnamed provider. Editorial content and published price ranges are not installation quotes.
